We are pleased this newly hired VP of Sales is bringing our clients’ customers more of what they want – delicious coffee.
Our client, a beverage company recently acquired and re-branded, reached out to Kinsa Group to conduct a nationwide search for a VP of Sales to build and strengthen their sales force. Because of our extensive network, Kinsa’s Recruiter was able to locate and recruit several coffee category-specific candidates within one day of launching the search. Eight qualified candidates were submitted in total, five of which were interviewed by the hiring manager face-to-face.
The candidate that was ultimately identified as the ideal match was submitted within the first week of the search and had experience as a Regional Director at a key coffee competitor – Green Mountain Coffee Roasters – for nearly 7 years. Although he was living in the northeast, he had been considering a relocation to avoid the cold winters, so our client’s southern state location was ideal. He had a unique beverage industry-specific skill set that was further exemplified during the client’s multi-step interview process at both the corporate and division locations. He happily accepted our client’s offer within 75 days of the search being launched.
