Kinsa is recruiting for a: Area Sales Manager – Foodservice Channel
Location: Houston, TX Area Territory
Mission:
Our client, a producer of premium meat products, is looking for an Area Sales Manager to add to their team. In this role you will be responsible for sales to foodservice distributors and end user customers. While working closely with Sales, Operations and Marketing leadership teams, the role exists to support the execution of our business plans.
Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).
Compensation/Benefits:
Compensation: 95-100k with additional bonus opportunity

What you’ll be responsible for:
Develop and grow profitable foodservice channel with distributors and end user accounts
Build relationships with personnel within foodservice distribution companies
Work with distributor management and sales force to gain acceptance and distribution
Frequent travel will be required within the territory, defined by management, to educate distributor personnel and restaurants
Competencies/Culture:
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field
3+ years of foodservice sales experience in a food processing environment
Experience with meat products (A MUST)
Currently experience managing a distribution network (A MUST)
Experience selling in the Houston Territory
