Rapidly growing, premium specialty seasonings/spices and sauces manufacturer for retail, foodservice, and industrial markets based in the Milwaukee, WI area.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop new high-complexity product formulations and reformulations of existing products, including commercialization.
- Manage a portfolio of assigned high-level product development projects through the product development life cycle.
- Duplicate flavors, textures, colors, and nutritional content in adherence with FDA and USDA standards and regulations.
- Facilitate product development by working with suppliers as well as marketing, quality, and production.
- Independently initiate, investigate, and implement significant new process improvements and cost savings projects.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- 5+ years of relevant R&D/Product Development experience in Seasonings, Spices, Sauces, and/or Processed Foods industry.
- Experience with dry blending and/or liquid blending and thermal processing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of product specifications, nutrition and labeling for finished products and ingredients.
- Experience in high-level product development and formulation from concept to completion.
