Senior Warehouse Manager – Meat Processing

Kinsa is recruiting for a: Sr. Warehouse Manager / Deli Products
Location: Owensboro, KY

Mission:
Our client, a producer of premium deli products, is looking for a Sr. Warehouse Manager to add to their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the entire end-to-end operations of a warehouse.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).

What you’ll be responsible for:
Manage all warehouse personnel resources optimally, including setting up of reporting structure, identification of roles and responsibilities, training and development
Customer contact, computer operations, handling of cash transactions and deposits, etc.
Pulling, processing, and checking orders for customers
Proper processing and control of all returns from customers including new product, rotations, adjustments, and junks
Routing of vehicles for daily delivery of product
Familiarity with and enforcement of Drivers Code of Conduct
Ensure effective utilization of warehouse areas and observe proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished goods
Prevent product damage and avoid occurrence of pilferage, accidents and occupational hazards
Develop & effectively implement warehouse and inventory monitoring systems
Provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting to leadership on inventory levels, P&L, issue resolution

Competencies/Culture:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
5+ Years of warehouse leadership experience in a food processing environment
Experience with inventory management systems
Experience managing warehouse staff and warehouse functions
