Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Build and lead the sales team, develop sales strategies, manage client accounts, oversee sales operations, and drive business development initiatives.
- Manage existing accounts and establish new customers nationwide.
- This role is hybrid-remote requiring cyclical travel to corporate location in the New York City Area.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- 7+ years of relevant Sales experience with Food Ingredients for Retail, Foodservice, and Industrial accounts, including Private Label development.
- Specialty Food industry experience.
- Sales, Sales Management, and Business Development skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience building a sales team preferred.
- Startup experience preferred.
