Kinsa is recruiting for an: Operations Director – Dairy
Location: Neenah, WI (Onsite, Relocation assistance available)
For multiple generations, our client has provided high-quality industrial ingredients for sweet treats, sourced from local dairy farms. Under continuous family ownership, each employee is embraced as part of the Galloway family. Due to recent growth, they have an opening for a Director of Operations. This position will set and oversee all strategies and goals for the operations team. You will work with the key leaders to create and execute programs, policies, and procedures that aid in achieving strategic and operational objectives.
- 7+ years of leadership in a food manufacturing operation that includes dairy experience. Relevant college degree preferred.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $150-170k base salary plus uncapped commission

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Ensure adherence to and improvement of the food safety management system and employee safety initiatives as a member of the Food Safety Team.
- Implement talent management processes to nurture and develop future leaders in key operational roles, and oversee staffing for all plant and operations management positions in a unionized environment.
- Supervise staffing, coaching, and development of the team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Address and resolve equipment issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure plant floor operators are trained on all job tasks, SOPs, and technical parameters.
- Manage operational costs, including ingredient yield and loss.
- Oversee the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Manage various administrative responsibilities, including report writing, expenditure approval, rule enforcement, and procurement decisions.
- Collaboratively set and monitor specific KPI targets.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- Relevant Bachelors degree highly preferred.
- 7+ years of leadership in a food manufacturing operation, preferably including dairy.
- Strong ERP and other technology skills.
