Location: Lubbock, TX
Mission:
Our client, a producer of premium frozen fruit and ice-cream snacks, is looking for a Sr. Sanitation Manager to add to their team.
Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).
Compensation/Benefits:
• Compensation: 100-110k, base pay

What you’ll be responsible for:
• Supervise team and participate in cleaning all facility equipment and building structures in accordance with established cleaning procedures
• Supervises sanitation employees to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulation, as well as company safety policies, procedures and standards
• Organizes sanitation activities in a cost-effective manner
• Delegates, organize, and prioritize sanitation employee’s daily tasks
• Ensures consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures
• Instills a culture of accountability within the sanitation team
• Operates, disassemble, clean and reassemble all the production equipment
• Make suggestions for continuous improvement opportunities
• Develops, analyzes, and delivers simple to complex information to direct reports
• Ensure associates are trained for and compliant with all applicable operations
• Ensures quality products are produced and department metrics are achieved
• Effectively communicates daily schedules, goals, quality issues/concerns between shifts
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings
• Safeguards and maintains company equipment and property, including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Competencies/Culture:
• 3+ years of sanitation leadership experience in a food processing environment
• Ability to train on food safety, food quality, regulatory requirements, customer service and continuous improvement
• Computer skills in Microsoft Products
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
