Product Development – RTE Cereal

Kinsa is recruiting for a: R&D Product Developer (RTE Cereal)

Location: Greater St. Louis, Missouri (Onsite)

Our client specializes in safe, quality, and affordable RTE Breakfast Cereal products.  They provide private label products to the retail and food service industries. They are looking to add a R&D Product Developer to their growing team. This person would be responsible for a portfolio of product lines.

Successful candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working with RTE cereal, snacks, or extruded products.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                               

• $85,000 – $100,000 base salary.
• Company profit sharing

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate / Reformulate Ready to Eat Breakfast Cereals.
• Commercialize products from the benchtop to full production.
• Work with the ingredient suppliers who support our business and products.
• Provide guidance to our production and quality teams in ingredients and formulas.
• Work with our customers and sales team to develop new products or address concerns.

Qualifications:

• A degree in food science, or a minimum of 5 years experience in food science / product development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple open projects.
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to work as a part of a team.
