Kinsa is recruiting for a: National Sales Account Manager (Retail / Frozen Food)
Location: USA (Remote)

This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in selling co-manufactured products into the retail space, specifically through private label and brand partnership agreements. Reporting to the CEO, the National Account Sales Manager is responsible for company’s national sales strategy, new business development and sales to new customer accounts. The National Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing and managing partnerships with major retailers and brands.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                         

  • $150,000 – $160,000 base salary
  • Commission plan

Major Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Executive Leadership Team, develop a tightly articulated value proposition for company
  • Develop a winning offering of including a sales story and the materials necessary to deliver on sales targets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to enter and expand in the retail market through private label partnerships and co-manufacturing agreements.
  • Cultivate relationships that turn into meaningful sales with new accounts
  • Focus on (a) national or large regional retailers for which the company will produce private label products, and/or (b) food companies for which the company will be a co-manufacturing partner and produce products, with potential for significant annual volume
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that drive long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align sales efforts with production capabilities and timelines.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team, outlining sales performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
  • Represent company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote capabilities and forge new partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in selling co-manufactured products into the retail space, specifically through private label and brand partnership agreements
  • 10+ years of experience selling to national or large regional retailers, and/or large food companies
  • Previous experience in baked goods or frozen foods.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and potential customers
