Kinsa is recruiting for a: Sr. HR Manager / Retail Multiple Locations
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Our client is retail Marketplace with multiple locations, based in San Francisco, CA. As Senior HR Manager, you will provide advice, counsel, and support in HR areas, including managing all onboarding, leaves, employee relations, separations, performance management, recruiting support, and assisting with benefits administration. Your goal is to also provide administration for Payroll activities and legal support for events as required. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, you will be an integral leader of this team.
- Successful candidates MUST HAVE 15 years of HR experience, with 5 years at the HR Manager or higher level.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $140,000 – $150,000 base salary range
- 10% bonus potential

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information with strong ethical professionalism
- Manage all employee relation issues, investigating and resolving issues and implementing and recording results.
- Experience with Payroll and associated duties preferred.
- Oversee all unemployment claims, making sure that evidence is provided as necessary.
- Provide guidance and structure to the hiring managers as needed to assist with filling open positions.
- Onboard, separate, and ensure I9 compliance as needed for all employees.
- Manage the performance of all HR staff that reports to this position, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Ensure legal compliance with all labor regulation for city, state, and federal by implementing required policies and procedures and procedures and monitoring compliance.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- Must have 15 years of HR experience, with 5 years minimum experience at the HR Manager level.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field. Training and experience in lieu is acceptable for right candidate.
- Able to work in extremely confidential environment, with little supervision and be a self starter.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume environment with 100+ retail locations and many levels of management staff.
- Ability to travel 10% to locations if needed.
