Kinsa is recruiting for a: Maintenance/Engineering Manager – Protein
Location: Onsite in Fayetteville, NC
Our client is a leading international food processor with an opportunity for a Maintenance/Engineering Manager to join their team in NC. You will develop, implement and apply engineering concepts to optimize equipment design for maintainability, PM procedures and ease of sanitation. The Maintenance/Engineering Manager will have 2 direct reports and will report to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will work on multiple major projects of the highest complexity requiring forefront engineering envision and innovative solutions
- Maximize equipment uptime and minimize the life-cycle cost of company assets
- Design for Maintainability (DfM) of assets and develop equipment maintenance plan for assets
- Investigates and resolves work-in process problems, reporting on project updates, equipment issues
- Coordinates the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget
Education & Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Maintenance field and/or Engineering degree preferred, or relevant experience
- 10+ yrs. demonstrated maintenance management experience in a food manufacturing environment, Poultry preferred
- In-depth experience with financial analysis in a Maintenance setting (Agristats)
- Solid depth knowledge and experience of HACCP and USDA regulations for sanitation, pre-operations guidelines and operations
