Customer Relations Manager – Consumer Goods

Kinsa is recruiting for a:  Customer Relations Manager – CPG
Location: Port Washington, WI (onsite in the office Monday – Friday)

The Customer Relations Manager will represent our client by showcasing its contract manufacturing capabilities to both current and potential customers. This individual will oversee project management, ensuring that customer expectations are met with the highest level of quality and service, and act as a primary liaison for both internal and external customer interactions, collaborating with vendors and staff to deliver exceptional results.

The CRM will have responsibility for the training, mentoring and management of 2-4 Project Managers with the mission to consistently exceed customer expectations by consistently providing the highest standards of quality and service.

All candidates MUST HAVE 5+ years of Project Management and/or Customer Service experience in a contract manufacturing environment AND previous supervisory experience!

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                         

• $85,000 – $90,000 salary range BOE

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Collaborate with project management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met with top-quality service.
• Mentor, train, and develop staff to support professional growth.
• Prioritize customer projects & requests effectively and maintain communication with current customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build relationships with potential customers to introduce products and services.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers by presenting new products and services.
• Attend trade shows to stay informed on market trends and new products.
• Create proposals for customer projects, including pricing, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Work with the legal department on contract negotiations to ensure timely execution.
• Travel as needed to address supplier and customer issues and foster new customer relationships.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• 5+ years of Project Management and/or Customer Service experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Previous comparable supervisory experience (2-4 PM reports)
• Must be an organized, responsive and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels.
• Must be able to manage a high-volume workload while staying focused on meeting objectives.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Port Washington, WI
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
