Production Manager – Frozen Fruit Snacks

Kinsa is recruiting for:  Production Manager
Location:  Lubbock, TX

Mission:
Our client, a producer of premium frozen fruit and ice-cream snacks, is looking for a Production Manager to add to their team. 

Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Work with all departments to coordinate production, PM, and Sanitation schedules and events.
• Maintain/exceed established production standards.
• Participate in new product development and introductions.
• Maintain product formulation integrity.
• Manage and control cost as it relates to budgeted labor, raw materials, packaging and waste.
• Participate in ongoing process and machine operation training.
• Monitor and enforce established GMP, OSHA, HACCP rules and regulations.
• Maintain high quality standards.

Competencies/Culture:          

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or related field
• 5+ years of production operations leadership experience in a factory/manufacturing
• Food or beverage processing experience
• Experience developing production team on multiple shifts
