Accounting Manager – Food Manufacturing

Kinsa is recruiting for an: Accounting Manager – Food/CPG        
Location: Onsite in Lakewood, NJ

Our client is a provider of high-quality deli meats with an opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join their team in NJ. You will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including A/P, A/R, GL, and cash flow, providing accurate financial reporting to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Accounting Manager will have 2 direct reports and will report to the Executive Vice President.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                         
•    Base salary target $100K plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:

•    You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
•    Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
•    Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
•    Monitor cash flow, perform treasury functions, and maintain bank account records
•    Oversee payroll processing
•    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
•    Prepare and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

Education & Experience Needed:                        
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 
•    5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
•    Strong knowledge of the material and process flows in CPG and manufacturing process.
•    Previous experience in manufacturing/consumer product goods
•    Bilingual English/Italian desired
