VP of Technical

Kinsa is recruiting for a: Vice President of Technical Services (Food Manufacturing)
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Onsite)

Summary:
The Vice President of Technical Services provides leadership and partners cross functionally for the Technical functions, which consists of Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Thermal Processing, and R&D. The role is also responsible for executing on the Company’s overall technical vision, shaping its strategy, and driving its development. Responsible for ensuring that the company exemplifies high standards in food safety as well as ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, specific US Government Bodies, company, customer, legal and all regulatory requirements both foreign and domestic. This position will report to the company COO.

Compensation/Benefits:

• $250,000-275,000K Base Salary

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technical strategies to align with the company’s business goals and enhance operational efficiency across sites.
• Develop, implement, maintain, communicate and modify a Technical and Quality Management policy that insures compliance to all appropriate Industry, Legal, Best Practice and internal requirements.
• Work closely with the site factories to ensure the appropriate technical support to deliver on business priorities in terms of structure, roles, capability and impact.
• Establish standards and processes that elevate and verify the capability of suppliers to meet the high quality requirements of customers. 
• Develop, embed and ensure strict compliance with all policies and procedures that meet or exceed all legislative, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Ensure that a best-in-class Internal Audit systems are in place ensuring that they guarantee adherence to customer, company and third-party manufacturing standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Food Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management
• 10+ years of Technical leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Experience with fast moving contract packaging /private label and branded manufacturing desired
• Thermal processing experience desired.
