Retail Sales Manager/Director

Kinsa is recruiting for a: Director of Retail Sales (Bakery/Deli)
Location: Remote (USA)

Our client is seeking a s dynamic and experienced Sales professional who has direct experience selling to Major Grocery Retail customers in the Bakery/Deli Categories.  The primary responsibilities are to grow and develop their business and customer base.  They are rapidly expanding and are looking for an experienced person who can lead the development of their strategic approach to winning at Retail. The position reports to the SVP Sales & Marketing. 

Compensation & Benefits:
$140,000 – $160,000 base salary
Bonus potential

Responsibilities

• Strategic Development of New Customer Business program focused on the Bakery/Deli Category in Retail Customers
• Identify and sell New Customers and Business Opportunities on a national basis
• Educate Customers about our products and industry trends
• Develop customer strategies and annual plans for our success and the success of our customers
• Develop long term customer relationships which provide us with a strategic advantage
• Develop and Manage Broker interface where needed and appropriate
• Develop and Manage Logistics Service Providers for Retailers
• Analyze Sales Data for new opportunities and trends

Requirements:

• Proven success in developing and leading a Retail Strategy and Organization
• Minimum of 10 -15 years of successful sales experience in the Bakery/Deli Category in Grocery Retail
• Wide range of contacts and experience in the Deli and/or Bakery Departments working with several Grocery Retail customers
• Proven success with working with Brokers and Logistics Service Providers
• Excellent communication, presentation skills, teamwork, and motivation to succeed
• Strong selling and customer development skills
• Proven success and knowledge within the Bakery/Deli Category
