Location: Franksville, WI (Onsite)

Our client provides exceptional food products that inspire and delight. They are committed to crafting the highest quality breakfast items, from farm-fresh eggs to mouthwatering pancakes and more. They are looking to add a QA Manager to their team in Franksville, WI. In this critical role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate all food safety and quality assurance programs at the plant. You will lead all regulatory, SQF and customer audits in conjunction with corporate QA and oversee the plant sanitation program.

  • Relevant college degree. 3+ years FSQA leadership in a food production facility. PCQI, SQF and HACCP certified.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all Food Safety and quality assurance programs at the plant.
  • Lead all regulatory, SQF and customer audits in conjunction with corporate QA.
  • Oversee the sanitation program through a Sanitation Supervisor.
  • Ensure all products are sampled according to written company policies. Maintain all FSMA Food Safety (FDA) and GFSI (SQF) documentation at the plant.
  • Ensure that all FSMA Food Safety (FDA) regulations and GFSI (SQF) programs are being followed at the plant with Plant Management.
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement projects to grow Food Safety and quality assurance focus among plant personnel.
  • Create and Coordinate corrective & preventive action plans as appropriate at the plant.

Competencies Needed for Success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related.
  • 3+ years of experience managing the FSQA department within a food manufacturing facility.
  • PCQI, SQF and HACCP certified.
  • Experience with USDA regulations, FSMA and FDA regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience of sanitation programs and processes in a food manufacturing plant.
  • Experience and knowledge of microbiological analyses of food products.
  • Experience in problem solving Food Safety and quality assurance issues in a food plant.
