Kinsa is recruiting for a:  Trade Marketing Manager / Retail        
                              

Location: New York City, NY (Onsite)

Our client is an innovative Energy and Wellness product manufacturer based in New York City. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our marketing and sales efforts across all channels, including Convenience Stores, Health & Wellness, and Alternative/Specialty retail outlets. You will deliver industry-leading materials like sell sheets, pitch decks, and trade show collateral, and also lead trade promotional strategies and activations. Looking for someone that thrives in creating and executing trade marketing programs from the ground up.

  • MUST HAVE 7+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales enablement, or shopper marketing roles, with a strong focus on CPG channels.
  • Extensive experience with trade shows, particularly NACS, including booth design and program execution.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                         

  • $130,000 – $150,000 base salary
  • 10% bonus
  • Medical, dental, vision, etc.
  • Vacation and Holiday pay

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Create world-class sales tools, including sell sheets, pitch decks, customized presentations and collateral to empower the sales team, drive retailer engagement, and sales/category growth.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize trade marketing programs that drive sales velocity, brand awareness, and retailer satisfaction.
  • Own trade promotional spend, ensuring measurable ROI and alignment with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Spearhead trade marketing efforts for client’s upcoming retail test launch, including partner collaboration, positioning strategies, and field execution.
  • Analyze test performance and translate findings into actionable strategies for a national rollout.
  • Own client’s presence at key trade shows, including NACS, from booth concept and design to flawless on-site execution.

Competencies Needed for Success:                                                                                   

  • 7+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales enablement, or shopper marketing roles, with a strong focus on CPG and convenience store channels.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional trade marketing programs, preferably in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Extensive experience with trade shows, particularly NACS, including booth design and program execution.
  • Deep understanding of trade promotional spend management and how to measure ROI.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred but not required.
