Kinsa is recruiting for a:  Sales Executive – Food Service Solutions (LA / Riverside)
Location: Los Angeles, CA Area (Monday – Friday; typical 8AM – 5PM with flexibility for restaurant hours of business)
Our client is a top provider of efficient and eco-friendly bulk cooking oil management services for the food service industry. Their solutions improve safety, productivity, cost, and environmental impact for restaurant / kitchen staff. With over 35,000 customers, they are a profitable, established company positioned for strong growth in the coming year.
This Sales Executive opportunity is a true “hunter” sales role where you will focus solely on identifying and closing new business with independent and small chain restaurants, as well as opportunities within the hospitality industry in your territory. Your day will be spent prospecting and acquiring new customers—there are no account management or inside sales duties. Success in this position is driven by your persistence, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to thrive on new business development.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in field sales prospecting, proposing, negotiating, and closing NEW customers. MUST ALSO be able to drive using their own vehicle within the Los Angeles, Riverside, Ontario, San Bernadino territory daily, with occasional overnight travel.
A VALID driver’s license, insurance, and permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is also REQUIRED.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                         

  • $65,000 – $85,000 base salary range based on location and experience
  • Additional uncapped commission earnings at goal can range from $98k – $130k+

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Schedule and conduct daily prospecting in the field.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business.
  • Continuously learn about products and industry trends.
  • Track leads, activities, and pipeline data in CRM.
  • Use sales materials, presentations, contracts, pricing tools, and CRM to close deals.

Competencies Needed for Success:

  • Motivation and energy to do “door to door” sales 100% of the time.
  • Proven Experience in field sales prospecting, proposing, negotiating, and closing NEW customers.
  • Ability to travel 90% by car almost every day to prospects selling our solutions face to face (home every night).
  • Able to present to stake holders professionally and effectively.
  • Must have consistent and professional follow-up skills!
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
