Kinsa is recruiting for a: Regional Sales Manager – Foodservice    
Location: Home office in New York City, NY area

Our client is a family-owned company supplying the highest quality meat products to food service channels nationwide, with a new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join their team in the NYC area. You will manage the sales, new product distribution, distributor and broker relationships in the New York City region, developing a balanced approach to managing customer needs and company profitability. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Director of Foodservice Sales.

*** 5 years sales with a foodservice manufacturer and  broker management experience ***

Compensation/Benefits:                                                      

  • Competitive base salary target of $130K plus bonus up to 30% based on company and individual performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will manage the sales and profits in the NYC region, managing info within the Salesforce pipeline
  • Manage, train and develop the broker in the region
  • Open new foodservice distribution by conversion and/or securing business with large volume operators
  • Present strategic Distributor Business plans and reviews
  • Manage all local trade spending, expense budgets, and deductions

Education & Experience Needed:                                                              

  • Must live in NYC area
  • 5+ years of sales experience managing and growing foodservice distributors, both independent and broadline
  • Previously worked for a foodservice manufacturer in the protein industry, managing a foodservice broker
  • Comfortable with in person calls weekly
  • Able to develop and execute business sales plans and work independently
