Kinsa is recruiting for a:  Sales Manager – Grocery Distributor
Location: Atlanta, GA  Area
(75%+ travel within sales territory – must live here)

Our client is a well-established, full-service food distributor with a rich 95-year history and a portfolio of over 1,400 products across grocery, frozen, dairy, and beverage categories. Their diverse offerings include popular beverages, sauces, condiments, canned goods, frozen meats, and specialty items like soups, oats, and coconut products. Representing top food brands from the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Europe, they have built a strong reputation for quality and variety.

They are now looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead and energize a regional sales team, grow market share, and drive revenue in a dynamic and expanding territory. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales leader with a background in food distribution and a passion for multicultural markets—especially within Hispanic grocery channels. Candidates MUST be currently local to the Atlanta, GA area, have 3+ years of sales experience in the food and beverage distributor industry, and be able to travel 75%+ to accounts and to provide support to team members across the region.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $80k + BOE base salary, bonus, auto allowance, and benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of Sales Representatives, Merchandisers, and Sales Relief personnel.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and market expansion targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key retailers and independent accounts.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales plans with business goals.
  • Forecast and plan channel growth initiatives to maximize coverage and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory movement and reduce product loss due to shelf-life expiration.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings and relevant industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of sales management experience in the food and beverage industry REQUIRED
  • Deep understanding of ethnic and multicultural food markets in the corresponding territory
  • Grocery distributor background strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams, grow sales, and build lasting customer relationships
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Must be CURRENTLY LOCAL and permanently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
