Plant Manager – Meat

Kinsa is recruiting for a Plant Manager – Food                         
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Our client is a manufacturer of meat products selling primarily into Foodservice and Retail with a new opportunity for a Plant Manager to join their team. Leading by example, you will oversee all Production, Distribution, and plant Maintenance personnel, assisting in developing budgets, HACCP compliance and production costs in this family environment.

Responsibilities:

• You will coordinate with the owners, production and distribution staff to evaluate and implement best business practices
• Oversee Quality Control and standards to include safety standards
• Cost, Inventory and P & L

Education/Experience:                                                         

• Previous experience in plant management in the food industry, meat production preferred but not required
• Solid knowledge of USD Food Safety rules and guidelines
• Strong organizations and analytical skills
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Good work ethic, hands-on in a pinch
