Controller – Manufacturing

Kinsa is recruiting for a: Controller – Manufacturing    
Location: Onsite in Lakewood, NJ

Our client is a provider of high-quality deli products with an opportunity for a Controller to join their team in NJ. You will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including A/P, A/R, GL, Treasury, Finance and Cost Analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Controller will have 2 direct reports and will report to the Vice President.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                   •    Base salary target $125K plus performance bonus

Key Responsibilities:
•    You will manage the AP/AR, GL, Cash, Payroll and Treasury functions
•    Work closely with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
•    Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently
•    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
•    Prepare and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

Education & Experience Needed:                        
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 
•    5 years of experience in accounting or finance in a manufacturing setting
•    Previous experience in managing audits, preparing financial statements, budgets and tax filing procedures
