Customer Supply and Logistics Manager

Kinsa is recruiting for a Customer Supply & Logistics Manager
Location: Ripon, WI (100% onsite, with relocation assistance)

Our client has been manufacturing popular treats for 50+ years. Their state-of-the-art facility in Ripon, WI is looking to add a Customer Supply & Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product delivery and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing customer order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and coordinating production planning and external customer demand.

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree, 5+ of supply chain leadership in a food production or processing facility.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Oversee team activities in forecasting, allocation execution, order book management, customer program administration, quality complaint resolution, product returns, and invoice inquiries.
• Manage order processing and inventory control processes to meet service level targets and align with production capabilities.
• Act as the main liaison for customers regarding order fulfillment, delivery timelines, and general supply chain inquiries.
• Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs to identify opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Planning, Sales, and Production teams to optimize inventory levels in response to customer demand. Create job orders, maintain production records, and update Bills of Materials (BOM) in the QT9 system.
• Minimize product waste by aligning logistics operations with shelf-life constraints. Ensure logistics and supply chain activities comply with food safety standards, HACCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, BRC, SQF).
• Support the development and implementation of automation solutions across the supply chain.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles within the food manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and logistics platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders and perform effectively in fast-paced, production-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards and regulatory compliance.
