Kinsa is recruiting for a Director of Marketing
Location: Albuquerque, NM (Onsite, relocation assistance)
Our client is a premier food company with a rich history. They manufacture and distribute premium-quality food products to restaurant and retail customers throughout the United States. They are looking to add a Director of Marketing to their team. Working closely with the sales team and management, you will plan, organize and direct the marketing and promotional activities of the company.
- Relevant college degree. 4+ years recent, progressive food product marketing experience, 3+ leading teams. Strong track record of driving sales success. This role is best suited for a well-rounded, strategic marketing generalist leader who has worked for a smaller food company.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $130-150K base salary plus bonus

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Analyze, develop, and execute strategies and programs that support growth and success. Develop and execute pricing strategy, promotions, and deviations. Maintain relevant marketing analytics and KPIs that align with business objectives.
- Work closely with sales team to increase product sales. Provide data needed by the sales team and forecast sales. Collaborate with sales team to plan, analyze and execute promotional activities and events for all markets and conduct, evaluate and report on promotional analysis.
- Coordinate new product development and elimination
- Track and analyze competition and market trends.
- Oversee design, development and production of sales materials, packaging, website, etc.
- Develop and administer incentive programs for customers. Manage discounts and allowances.
- Train and supervise marketing staff.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- Relevant college degree.
- 4+ years experience in food marketing, to retail, foodservice and consumers. A track record of successfully supporting and growing sales.
- 3+ years management or supervisory experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent technology skills, expert at web and social media marketing.
