SEEKING A ROLE AS:
Human Resources Director or VP of People & Culture within a mid-sized to large food, hospitality, or service-oriented company, with customers in retail, foodservice, or B2C environments.

Strategic HR executive with 20+ years of experience in food & beverage, retail, and hospitality industries. Proven ability to lead talent acquisition, engagement, compensation, and compliance initiatives. Skilled in scaling HR infrastructure, driving organizational growth, and aligning people strategies with business goals. A trusted advisor known for building high-performing, inclusive cultures.

IN LOCATION:
Currently living in Nashville, TN with another residence option in Richmond, VA — open to relocation or hybrid opportunities; open to up to 40% travel.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 20+ years of progressive HR leadership experience across food, hospitality, and retail sectors

– Specialty skills include: employee engagement, talent acquisition, compensation design, HR systems (Paycor, ADP, and UKG), Learning Management Systems, DEI programs, organizational development, and HR analytics

– Directly managed HR departments and teams of up to 6 HR/Training professionals supporting 1,500+ employees

– Oversaw multi-million-dollar compensation and benefits portfolios; created scalable HR infrastructures for multi-site and multi-state growth

– Successfully led HR for rapid-growth companies—doubling workforce and facility count in under 2 years

– Classically trained in performance management, HR compliance, wellness program design, and employee relations

EDUCATION:
– BA in Business and Languages, University of Florida (with Honors)
– Post-Baccalaureate MBA Studies

Certified: PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM Compensation Specialist, Hogan Assessment Certified

COMPENSATION:
Base salary expectations are flexible and dependent on scope of responsibility and cost of living, but likely in the $90,000 – $110,000 range plus incentives.
