Location: Greater Philadelphia Area

Join a growing food manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for producing premium frozen foods for the foodservice industry. As the company expands its savory product portfolio, they are seeking a culinary innovator to help develop the next generation of chef-inspired offerings. This newly created role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence products from concept through commercialization.

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in chef-driven restaurants, foodservice, hospitality, or culinary product development required; food manufacturing and R&D experience highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $95,000 – $100,000 base salary + 20% bonus opportunity

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Lead development of savory and sweet food concepts from idea generation through commercialization
• Translate chef-created recipes into scalable foodservice products
• Execute kitchen trials, plant trials, and production scale-up activities
• Partner with Marketing, QA, Operations, and Purchasing throughout development projects
• Present products and concepts during customer tastings and innovation sessions
• Identify culinary trends, ingredients, and opportunities for future product growth

Competencies Needed for Success:

• Culinary degree required (CIA, Johnson & Wales, or equivalent)
• Strong experience in high-quality culinary operations and menu development
• Ability to balance culinary creativity with manufacturing realities
• Experience with frozen, prepared, or foodservice products preferred
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about innovation
