Seeking a role as: Director of Supply Chain/ Procurement/ Sourcing

Skills:
Management Experience:

  • Over 20 years of experience in various managerial roles.  Roles at several companies align closely with the responsibilities of a Director of Procurement.

Procurement and Supply Chain:

  • National Sourcing Director, Director of Procurement, Senior Supply Chain Manager and Senior Buyer/ Broker directly involve procurement activities, vendor management, contract negotiations, and strategic sourcing.  All of the roles held have been within the food industry involving commodities.

Strategic Planning and Budget Control:

  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, budget control, contract negotiations and implementing cost-saving measures.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as ability to manage supplier relationships and coordinate with internal teams.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient with various ERP systems and has implemented and optimized ERP solutions.

Compliance and Quality Standards:

  • Implemented internal inspection protocols and maintained food safety standards, to align with compliance on SQF certification standards and GMPs.

Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000
Education:  BS – Agriculture Business – Delaware Valley College
