R&D Manager / Director Candidate

SEEKING A ROLE AS: R&D Manager/Director for a small or mid-sized food processing company in the Food Production / Bakery Industry.

This candidate is an experienced Bakery and Food Industry professional with over 15 years specializing in new product development, business expansion, and bakery innovation. Background spans from culinary arts to executive leadership, with a focus on creating innovative bakery products, managing R&D teams, and driving revenue growth through strategic product launches.
• Industry Experience: 15+ years in Food Production and Bakery segments, with expertise in bakery product innovation, food safety, and process optimization.
• Management Skills: Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams, including R&D and operations personnel, with a focus on mentorship and leadership to foster innovation.
• Business Impact: Led initiatives generating substantial revenue growth, improved product quality, cost reductions, and process efficiencies in multiple organizations.
• Technical Expertise: Adept at recipe formulation, ingredient sourcing, regulatory compliance, HACCP, and the transition to clean-label, allergen-free ingredients.
• Product Development: Skilled in overseeing full lifecycle of product creation, from ideation and concept development to scaling and commercial launch, with hands-on experience in pilot and production trials.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors in European History from The Culinary Institute of America (2005). Certified Baking Technologist, Certified Baker.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary expectation in the range of $145,000 to $150,000 plus incentives, commensurate with responsibilities and location.
