SEEKING A ROLE AS: Quality Food Safety, Regulatory and Compliance leadership positions for a small or mid-sized food processing company in the food industry / business sector.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS: A highly motivated food safety and quality assurance leader with 20+ years of food industry experience, including Fortune 500 manufacturing and contract R&D environments. Brings SQF expertise, regulatory document control, supplier qualification, and cross-functional leadership to reduce customer complaints and keep production teams audit-ready.
• 20+ years in food processing/quality assurance & food safety (products/industry segment: food manufacturing and R&D)
• Category skills: SQF Practitioner (SQF), PCQI, HACCP, Food Defense/FSMA-aligned programs, internal auditing, supplier/ingredient qualification, technical document writing, project management, product specifications and nutritional labeling
• Managed teams of direct reports: Yes — led staff of 4 direct reports (site QA managers); also managed 5 direct reports and 10 direct reports in prior director/QA roles
• Profit & performance impact (revenue metrics): Improved process for an existing product, improving product profitability by $110,000 annually
• Audit and compliance results: maintained excellent production QA performance at 97–99% and achieved strong SQF performance with a 96% passing score
• Built scalable systems: developed and managed SQF programs across multiple sites and implemented supplier approval and audit programs

EDUCATION: B.S. Biology

COMPENSATION: Target base salary of $155,000.00 plus incentives, aligned to scope of leadership responsibilities.
