What You’ll Do:
As an Executive Chef & Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary and operational strategies for our client’s multi-unit foodservice brands. Your expertise will translate brand vision into scalable systems, ensuring consistency and excellence across all locations. You will lead culinary R&D, develop menus, optimize recipes, and support operational design to enhance efficiency and quality. Your leadership will extend to mentoring team members and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact results.
- Lead culinary and operational documentation from concept through rollout, ensuring consistency and clarity.
- Coordinate, test, and present recommendations in test kitchens for internal teams and clients.
- Develop menu concepts, recipes, build cards, and supply chain details for multi-unit execution.
- Optimize menu items through engineering, costing, and margin analysis.
- Develop kitchen designs, equipment recommendations, and SOPs to streamline operations.
- Travel to test kitchens, client facilities, and stores to validate recipes and operational standards.
- Mentor culinary and operations staff as the team expands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors to maintain culinary and operational integrity.
Qualifications You Have:
- Culinary Degree from an accredited culinary school or program.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in culinary and operations roles within chain foodservice brands.
- Proven experience with multi-unit restaurant operations, recipe standardization, and scaling.
