They are seeking an experienced hospitality leader to oversee Food & Beverage operations and help elevate the overall member experience through exceptional service, strong operational leadership, and memorable member events.

What You’ll Do
As the Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee all Food & Beverage and event operations for a premier private country club. This is an operations-focused leadership role responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience while leading restaurant, banquet, wedding, and tournament operations. Approximately 80% of the role is dedicated to Food & Beverage operations, with the remaining 20% focused on private event sales and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily Food & Beverage operations across member dining, banquets, weddings, tournaments, and special events.
- Recruit, coach, develop, and lead the Food & Beverage team while fostering a culture of exceptional hospitality.
- Manage labor, budgets, inventory, purchasing, and cost controls to maximize operational performance.
- Partner with culinary leadership to develop menus, beverage programs, and seasonal offerings.
- Meet with prospective event clients and oversee the successful execution of weddings, banquets, and private events.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company standards while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications You Have
- 5+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience within restaurants, resorts, hotels, private clubs, or banquet operations.
- Demonstrated success leading restaurant operations, banquets, weddings, and private events.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, labor management, inventory control, and cost containment.
- Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing hospitality teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to relocate or commute to Southern New Jersey.
