Our client is a leading beverage company with a strong international presence, specializing in ready-to-drink tea and functional beverages. Committed to quality, innovation, sustainability, and community impact, they are expanding their North American operations with a new greenfield plant in the Sacramento, CA area.

What You’ll Do:
Join our client as an EHS Manager to lead environmental sustainability, safety programs, and ESG [environmental, social and governance] initiatives at their greenfield manufacturing facility. This role offers the chance to shape a pioneering plant from its startup phase and implement responsible environmental and sustainability practices.

  • Develop and manage the facility’s ESG framework, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Implement energy conservation, emissions reduction, and carbon management strategies.
  • Partner with site leadership to drive safety culture, oversee safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and ESG rating organizations for compliance and reporting.

Qualifications You Have:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Sustainability, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in ESG, EHS, environmental compliance, or related disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, safety programs, and ESG reporting
  • Experience managing manufacturing safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions
  • Familiarity with carbon emissions tracking, energy reduction projects, and sustainability initiatives
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, auditors, and compliance programs in a food or beverage processing facility
