Kinsa is recruiting for a:
Director of Product Development
Location: Henderson, NV (with travel to Colorado operations as needed)

This organization develops and produces innovative products across multiple categories and is known for its strong quality standards, technical expertise, and vertically integrated operations. This leadership role will shape the future product portfolio, drive innovation, and build development capabilities that directly impact the company’s long-term growth.

• 10+ years of product development and formulation leadership experience required within nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or related industries; experience leading commercialization and scale-up in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Lead product development strategy, formulation innovation, and commercialization across the company’s product portfolio.
• Guide products from concept through formulation, pilot trials, scale-up, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Build and develop a high-performing Product Development team through coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to ensure successful commercialization and operational execution.
• Drive product quality, performance, stability, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Identify emerging ingredients, technologies, and market trends to support innovation and future growth.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• Strong expertise in nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or related product formulation and commercialization.
• Deep understanding of biochemistry, ingredient functionality, stability, bioavailability, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into commercially viable products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, DSHEA, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic leader with outstanding problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
