Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $150-175,000

Key Responsibilities & Goals:

Competencies Needed for Success:
- Minimum of 10+ years in progressive sales and business development within the food and beverage industry, with at least 5+ years leading sales teams
- Strong experience in specialty ingredients, brewing, distilling, or related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate long-term supply contracts and manage key accounts
- Excellent team leadership and motivational skills—able to develop, mentor, and inspire sales teams
- Proficient in market research, data analysis, and leveraging insights to craft effective sales strategies
- Deep understanding of distribution channels, especially within malt, brewing ingredients, and related markets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in building relationships within craft and regional brewing, distilling, non-alcoholic beverages, or specialty ingredient markets
- Knowledge or background in hops, coffee, tea, or similar raw ingredients
- Experience managing through commodity price volatility or supply constraints
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Fermentation Science, or related fields
- Proven track record of building and executing successful sales strategies in the beverage ingredients sector
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with technical, quality, R&D, supply chain, and marketing teams
Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to relocate, with comprehensive relocation support provided
- Ability to travel 30-50% domestically to nurture key customer relationships and industry presence
- Familiarity with GMP, food safety standards, and industry regulations
