Kinsa is recruiting for a: National Sales Manager / Grocery
Location: Remote 

Mission:
Our client, a producer of premium baked good products, is looking for a National Sales Manager to add to their team. In this role you will drive new account acquisition, develop retailer relationships, manage broker and distribution networks, and ensure strong in-store execution during early-stage expansion.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Grocery Channel Entry: Secure initial distribution in targeted regional grocery chains using a disciplined, test-and-expand approach. This position will act as a Brand Ambassador in the grocery channel.
  • Revenue & Distribution Growth: Build a productive base of accounts and expand the  grocery business scaling to key retailers nationwide
  • Retailer Relationship Development: Establish credibility with buyers and category managers as a reliable, growth-oriented supplier
  • In-Store Execution & Velocity: Ensure successful product launches with strong placement, merchandising, and early-stage sell-through via demos, promos and/or supporting chain specific initiatives
  • Broker & Distributor Alignment: Effectively manage broker partners and distributors to support account growth and execution
  • Market Intelligence & Adaptation: Build organizational knowledge of grocery channel dynamics

Competencies/Culture:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of CPG grocery sales experience
  • Significant experience selling into retail grocery channel – bakery, deli, snack food categories (A Must)
  • Success launching and scaling early-stage or mid-sized brands in grocery
  • Proven track record of securing new accounts and driving product velocity
  • Experience with regional chain expansion strategies
