Overview:
A growing dairy food & beverage manufacturer and global leader in the foodservice industry is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead innovation in dairy product development. As a Senior Dairy Scientist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of dairy-based products for fast-paced QSR applications. 

Compensation:

• $150-170,000 base salary + bonus

Key Responsibilities & Goals:

• As a key member of the R&D team, you will spearhead the end-to-end creation of dairy solutions—including soft serve, creamers, and specialty beverages—ensuring they meet customer specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing capabilities.

• You’ll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive projects from conception to commercialization, optimize formulations, and establish product gold standards that set the company apart in the industry.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• The ideal candidate will possess strong dairy science and processing knowledge, with experience in high-volume foodservice environments.

• You should have at least 5 years of leadership experience managing R&D teams and a deep understanding of dairy chemistry, UHT processing, and quality systems.

• Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for success.

• Preferred qualifications include a BS/MS in Food Science or related disciplines, with an advanced degree considered a plus. Experience working with dairy products in QSR settings is highly valued. 

• Additional desirable skills include familiarity with dairy stabilizers, UHT processing, and experience working with key dairy suppliers. Certifications or additional credentials in food science or dairy technology are advantageous.
