Kinsa is recruiting for a: Store Manager

Location: Southwest Houston Area, TX

Join a newly launched specialty food retail concept backed by a well-established national food company with more than three decades of success in the protein industry. This membership-based operation offers customers premium meat, poultry, seafood, frozen foods, and specialty grocery products in a unique shopping environment. Combining the energy of a new venture with the stability and resources of an established organization, this role offers the opportunity to build a team, influence store culture, and play a key role in the success of a flagship location.

• 5+ years of retail store management experience required; grocery, club store, specialty food, frozen food, protein category, or membership retail experience strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $75,000 – $110,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Lead all daily store operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop supervisors and store associates.
• Drive sales growth, membership engagement, and local promotional initiatives.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and pricing activities.
• Maintain operational excellence, food safety standards, and store presentation.
• Partner with leadership to support store growth and build a high-performing team.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• Proven success leading retail store operations and customer-facing teams.
• Strong customer service, sales, and promotional planning skills.
• Experience hiring, scheduling, coaching, and developing employees.
• Ability to work comfortably in refrigerated and frozen-product environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, and travel requirements.
