CFO / VP of Finance Candidate

SEEKING A ROLE AS: CFO, VP of Finance, Corporate Controller

IN LOCATION: Based in Tampa, FL. Willing to relocate nationwide and travel as needed.

PROFILE:
A seasoned Chief Financial Officer and senior finance executive with 20+ years of progressive leadership experience across meat processing, grocery/retail, and CPG food manufacturing environments. Brings deep expertise in private equity-backed organizations, multi-entity structures, acquisitions, integration strategy, and full P&L ownership. Proven leader in driving profitability, strengthening cost accounting systems, leading multi-site finance and HR teams, and executing M&A transactions. Able to align financial strategy with operational performance, drive EBITDA growth, support plant-level productivity, and provide strategic partnership to ownership, boards, and executive leadership teams.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 20+ years of executive finance leadership including CFO and Regional Controller roles within manufacturing and CPG food environments.
– Led PE-backed transactions including successful sale and acquisition integrations, aligning financial systems, job costing, KPIs, and operational reporting.
– Full P&L ownership with oversight of accounting, finance, HR, forecasting, capital planning, legal coordination, and institutional financing.
– Managed multi-site operations across 13+ facilities with divisional revenues exceeding $150M.
– Directed $530M in fixed assets and capital expenditure planning, including ROI analysis and post-audit business case justification.
– Strong expertise in cost accounting, pricing strategy, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
– Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with public accounting and tax foundation, bringing strong technical accounting depth.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting & Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $225,000 – $250,000 range depending on scope of responsibility, incentive structure, equity participation, and overall compensation package.
