SEEKING A ROLE AS: Plant / Corporate Controller, Senior Finance Leader

IN LOCATION: Based in the greater Philadelphia area. Willing to relocate anywhere and travel as needed.

PROFILE:
A seasoned CPA Controller and manufacturing Finance Leader with 30+ years of progressive experience building and leading accounting functions across multi-site dairy processing, industrial manufacturing, and CPG food production environments. Brings deep expertise in cost accounting, ERP implementation, audit readiness, SEC reporting, and full-cycle financial management from startup through $33MM+ revenue organizations. Known for restoring profitability through structured product costing, strengthening internal controls, and guiding companies through acquisitions, management buyouts, and due diligence processes.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 30+ years of multi-site manufacturing finance leadership including dairy processing, food packaging, industrial equipment, and CPG environments.
– Implemented full product costing systems that restored profitability and created structured accounting functions for growing food manufacturers.
– Directed accounting operations from daily cash management through annual audits, tax preparation, and FP&A oversight.
– Led successful audit preparation and due diligence processes supporting acquisitions and company sales to public organizations.
– Managed ERP conversions and system implementations (JDE, Sage, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft), improving reporting accuracy and operational transparency.
– Built accounting departments from inception, supervising A/P, A/R, payroll, cost accounting, and inventory management teams.
– Oversaw multi-entity consolidations, SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), and compliance with US GAAP standards.
– Partnered with executive leadership on strategic planning, capital expenditure budgets, and working capital optimization.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: B.A. in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA – Active)

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $100,000 – $130,000 range depending on cost of living, incentive structure, and scope of responsibility.
