SEEKING A ROLE AS: Plant Controller, Corporate Controller
IN LOCATION: Lives in the greater Philadelphia area. Willing to relocate nationwide and travel as needed.
PROFILE:
A seasoned Corporate and Plant Controller Executive with 25+ years of progressive leadership experience across dairy, meat processing, and industrial manufacturing environments. Brings deep expertise in multi-site manufacturing finance, standard and ABC cost accounting, ERP transformations, private equity reporting, and full P&L ownership. Proven ability to partner with plant operations, strengthen internal controls, lead ERP conversions, and drive strategic planning initiatives that improve margin performance and working capital efficiency.
SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 25+ years of senior financial leadership in manufacturing environments including meat processing, dairy production, and industrial manufacturing operations.
– Full financial oversight of multi-site operations ranging from $25MM to $130MM+ in annual revenues, including board-level reporting and private equity ownership environments.
– Deep expertise in standard, ABC, job/project, and custom cost accounting across process and discrete manufacturing platforms.
– Led strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting (FP&A) while improving inventory controls, procurement processes, and working capital management.
– Directed internal and external audits, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance, risk assessments, and internal control documentation.
– Managed ERP system implementations and conversions including JDE (World, OneWorld, E1), SAP, NetSuite, Hyperion HFM, and multiple manufacturing bolt-on systems.
– Oversaw fixed asset management, CAPEX planning, ROI analysis, and post-audit justification for manufacturing investments.
– Led cross-functional finance, HR, IT, and administrative teams (5–16 staff members) with a hands-on, “lead by example” management style.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: MBA, Bachelor of Accounting/Finance, Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $155,000 – $175,000 range depending on total compensation package, incentive structure, and scope of responsibility.
