Director, Food Safety & Quality Assurance Candidate

SEEKING A ROLE AS: Director, FSQA for a small or mid-sized food processing company in the Food Manufacturing/Processing.

IN LOCATION: Currently living in UT. Willing to Relocate, Worksite Preference: Open.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS: This Candidate is an accomplished food safety and quality assurance leader with extensive experience in the meat processing and food manufacturing industry. He has a proven track record leading global quality and food safety programs, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

– Over 15 years of industry experience including expertise in food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and supplier management.

– Skilled in leading cross-functional teams of QA Supervisors and Technicians, with demonstrated success in managing department budgets and overseeing quality initiatives.

– Responsible for developing and implementing Food Safety and Quality policies at an international level across multiple facilities. Managed comprehensive audits, CAPA processes, and risk assessments to uphold high standards.

– Classically trained in HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and pathogen control, with hands-on experience conducting internal, supplier, and customer audits including BRC, USDA, FDA, and specific client standards such as Subway, Tyson, McDonald’s, and Whole Foods.

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Animal Science

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation dependent on responsibilities and cost of living but likely in the $160,000-$170,000 range plus incentives.
