Director of FSQA & Plant Operations Candidate

SEEKING: a senior leadership role in Quality Assurance and/or Operations at the Director level or above.

PROFILE:
Seasoned Food & Beverage industry leader with 12 years of progressive experience across Operations and Quality Assurance, offering a unique, comprehensive perspective on end-to-end manufacturing processes. Proven success in building and developing high-performing QA teams, mentoring leaders, and implementing systems that elevate food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Adept in both small-scale environments and complex, multi-site operations, with a strong foundation in risk management and continuous improvement methodologies. Recognized for driving measurable outcomes in safety, quality, and performance through data-driven strategy and hands-on leadership.

PREFERRED LOCATION: Based near Wichita, KS — open to relocation within the Midwest and available for up to 50% travel.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 12 years of experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry
– Strong background in regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, AAFCO), SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and HARPC
– Led and developed QA/Operations teams of up to 20 direct reports, including supervisors and leads
– Extensive experience in internal and third-party auditing, risk assessment, and QMS implementation
– Certified and classically trained in HACCP, PCQI, SQF, Internal Auditing, Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma
– Proven track record of improving audit scores, reducing waste, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration

EDUCATION:
Doctorate in Leadership -Northwestern Christian University
Master’s in Business Administration -Trinity College
Bachelor of Science – Trinity College

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation dependent on cost of living and responsibilities but likely in the $165,000 range plus incentives.
