Driven Quality Assurance Manager Candidate

SEEKING A ROLE AS: Quality Assurance/Food Safety Leader for a small or mid-sized food processing company in the food manufacturing sector.

IN LOCATION: Fairfield, California. Not open to relocation. Open to onsite, hybrid, or remote work.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
A seasoned food safety and quality assurance professional with over 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, contract manufacturing, microbiology, and multi-site quality operations. Demonstrates expertise in GFSI/FSMA compliance, audits, CAPA, investigations, product release, co-manufacturer qualification, and commercialization. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational performance and strengthen food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Over 10 years of industry experience in food manufacturing and microbiology
• Category skills include Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Microbiology, Regulatory Compliance, Auditing, CAPA, and Product Disposition
• Managed teams of direct reports, including quality managers and laboratory personnel
• Responsible for overseeing quality systems supporting volumes of millions of dollars worth of product and multi-site operations

EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in Ecology and Systematic Biology
Bachelor’s degree in Biology

COMPENSATION:
Base salary expectation around $155,000, dependent on responsibilities and location, plus incentives.
