SEEKING A ROLE AS: Operations Director, Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing, or Senior Operations Leadership with a small to mid-sized food processing or food manufacturing company.
IN LOCATION: San Antonio, TX. Open to relocation. Worksite Preference: Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote.

Accomplished food manufacturing and operations leader with more than 20 years of experience driving operational excellence across food processing, packaging, ingredient manufacturing, bakery, snack foods, seafood, and specialty food production environments. Recognized for building high-performing teams, improving plant performance, strengthening food safety and quality systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive sustainable business results.
Key strengths you can count on:
• 20+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, processing, packaging, and operations management
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence
• Proven success leading plant turnarounds, improving productivity, reducing waste, and increasing throughput
• Extensive experience managing large, cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, quality, sanitation, and supply chain functions
• Strong food safety and regulatory knowledge including FDA, USDA, GMP, FSQA, HACCP, and SQF standards
• Led multimillion-dollar capital projects, facility improvements, equipment upgrades, and operational expansion initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance while maintaining safety, quality, and customer service standards
• Experienced in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, and cost control
• Skilled at developing leadership teams, building accountability, and creating performance-driven cultures
• Track record of successfully aligning operations strategy with business objectives to drive profitability and growth
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, The University of Iowa
COMPENSATION:
Base salary expectation is generally in the $150,000-$180,000 range plus incentives, with flexibility based on responsibilities, geographic location, and total compensation package.
