SEEKING A ROLE AS: Food Safety & Quality Assurance Leader for a small or mid-sized food manufacturer, distributor, or foodservice organization in the Food Safety & Quality Assurance space.

IN LOCATION: Currently living in Wauwatosa, WI and seeking opportunities within approximately 40 minutes of Union Grove, WI. Candidate is not willing to relocate. She is open to Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote work opportunities.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS: Results-driven Food Safety & Quality Assurance leader with 10+ years of experience leading regulatory compliance, audit readiness, operational food safety programs, and cross-functional accountability initiatives within large-scale food distribution environments. This candidate brings advanced expertise in SQF, HACCP, FSMA, GDP, OSHA compliance, and food safety culture development, with a proven track record of driving facility-wide compliance and maintaining audit-ready operations supporting 400+ employees.

– Owned and led site-wide food safety and quality systems across a 500,000 sq. ft. food distribution facility supporting 400+ employees
– Managed SQF and GDP programs with a 97/100 audit score while maintaining continuous audit readiness
– Led GMP execution, sanitation oversight, pest control programs, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance initiatives across daily operations
– Served as the primary point of accountability for food safety performance, partnering cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to enforce standards and drive corrective actions
– Influenced and held teams accountable for food safety compliance without direct reporting authority, helping build a strong culture of operational accountability
– Developed and delivered onboarding and food safety training programs for 400+ employees annually
– Strong background in audit management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
– Managed workplace safety programs, OSHA compliance initiatives, incident tracking, and injury reduction efforts across large operational environments
– Experienced with Intelex and Origami systems to support compliance tracking, reporting, and safety metrics analysis
– Certified in HACCP, Seafood HACCP, SQF, FSMA, PCQI, OSHA 30, Smith System, and CPR

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree

COMPENSATION: The base salary expectation is around $100,000, dependent on the responsibilities and overall compensation package.
