SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS: This candidate is a highly experienced Food Scientist specializing in R&D and product development within the food industry. With a strong background in biological sciences and food science, this candidate has led innovative projects to develop functional and allergen-specific food products. Their expertise spans product formulation, process scale-up, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Over 10 years of experience in food science and product development, particularly in allergen-friendly, plant-based, and functional foods.
• Managed multi-million-dollar product portfolios, overseeing entire product lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
• Managed teams of food technologists and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration to deliver impactful product launches.
• Responsibilities have included raw material sourcing, process development, quality standards, and technology transfer.
• Classical training in food science with demonstrated ability to lead innovation, manage budgets, and strategize R&D roadmaps.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences, Master’s of Science in Food Science, Certified Food Scientist

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation dependent on responsibilities and cost of living, but likely in the $140-160k range plus incentives.
