Plant Manager / Production Manager Candidate

SEEKING A ROLE AS: Plant Manager OR Production Manager FOR A SMALL OR MID-SIZED FOOD PROCESSING COMPANY

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
This candidate is a seasoned production management professional with over 25 years of progressive experience in the meat processing industry, specializing in ground beef and beef patties (both fresh and frozen). Excels in overseeing complex manufacturing operations, managing inventory, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve production efficiency, safety, and quality standards. Extensive hands-on experience with equipment such as grinders, freezing systems, and GMP compliance ensures optimal plant performance.

Key skills include:
o Operations management in meat processing and food manufacturing
o Leadership of large production teams, including direct supervision of supervisors and associates
o Inventory control and logistics for raw materials and finished products
o Continuous improvement of process efficiencies and product quality
o Expertise in GMPs, HACCP, and BRC standards
o Strong collaboration with sales, safety, HR, and maintenance departments
o Proficient in troubleshooting equipment and optimizing production workflows

EDUCATION:
Attended South Plains College, Levelland, TX, and holds a Certificate of Participation in HACCP development and implementation, as well as a Certified Auditor qualification from ISO14001.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary expectation is in the $130-150k range, depending on role responsibilities and location, with potential incentives.
