SEEKING A ROLE AS: QA Manager / Director, FSQA Manager

IN LOCATION: Based in Kansas and willing to relocate anywhere. Happy to travel as needed.

A highly accomplished Quality and Operations leader with 20+ years of experience across meat processing, beverage manufacturing, and snack food production environments. Brings deep expertise in USDA-regulated operations, SQF systems, HACCP implementation, food safety compliance, and plant-wide operational leadership. Recognized for building scalable quality systems, improving yield and cost controls, and leading cross-functional teams in high-volume, multi-site environments.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 20+ years of leadership in USDA-inspected meat facilities, snack food production, and beverage manufacturing environments.
– Directed quality and operations across four USDA facilities, leading full HACCP conversion, SQF certification (initial certification to SQF 9), and Food Defense program implementation.
– Reduced product giveaway from 8% to below 1.5% through targeted weight adherence initiatives, significantly improving margins.
– Eliminated $250K in quarterly ingredient distribution costs through strategic procurement and supply chain restructuring.
– Led implementation of ERP systems and technical databases to improve traceability, BOM management, and label compliance.

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $100,000 – $120,000 range depending on scope of responsibility and incentive structure.
