SEEKING A ROLE AS: QA Supervisor, Laboratory Quality Manager
IN LOCATION: Based in the Greater Philadelphia area. Willing to relocate and travel as needed.
PROFILE:
A quality systems and compliance leader with progressive experience across laboratory services, confectionery manufacturing, ingredient operations.. Brings strong expertise in document control, audit readiness, GMP/SQF/BRC compliance, and training program development. Recognized for strengthening quality systems, supporting successful regulatory audits (U.S. and international), and building structured compliance frameworks in both food and pharmaceutical and science settings.
SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– Progressive quality leadership across laboratory service companies, confectionery, and ingredient manufacturing.
– Subject Matter Expert (SME) in electronic and paper-based document control systems, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
– Supported and successfully navigated U.S. and international regulatory audits with consistent positive outcomes.
– Developed comprehensive departmental training programs and supervised staff to ensure adherence to GMP, SQF Level 2, and BRC standards.
– Managed COA verification, raw material compliance, and batch record approval processes.
– Authored and revised SOPs aligned with evolving regulatory and certification standards.
– Experienced in FDA CFR (food & pharmaceutical), USDA compliance, ISO 17025, cGMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, and BRC systems.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
Associate’s Degree in Patisserie & Baking Arts
HACCP Certified – International HACCP Alliance
Training in FSMA, SQF, BRC, ISO 17025, cGMP
COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $100,000 – $115,000 range depending on scope of responsibility and incentive structure.
